Description

Longridge Bridge is a single-span double-carriageway road bridge constructed from snecked rubble, featuring a coped parapet. It has a wide, shallow pointed arch made of dressed voussoirs, with a raised band located at the base of the parapet. On the eastern bank, there is a long approach that includes a segmental flood arch with sunk voussoirs and a keystone. The deck of the bridge is ramped towards the center.
