Description
The lychgate at the Church of St Eleth is an early 19th-century structure made of rubble masonry. It features dressed limestone coping and voussoirs that form a wide, shallow cambered, chamfered arch. The sides of the lychgate are raking and step up to a dressed stone capping that is also stepped. The wide entrance is fitted with double gates made of alternating short and tall vertical rails, topped with arrowhead finials.
