Description

The lychgate at the south entrance of the Church of St Eilian is made of mortared rubblestone. It features an entrance with a round-headed archway constructed from rough stone voussoirs. The sides of the lychgate rise from low rubble walls, and the top step is topped with a rough stone cross. The archway includes a timber gate.
