Description
Tan y Fynwent is a small vernacular cottage range that consists of a two-storey, two-window cottage with a central doorway. To the west end, there is a lower single bay range, and to the east, there is a two-unit cowhouse with doors offset to the right. The building is constructed of rubble masonry, with the cowhouse being limewashed and sitting on a boulder base that is partly on outcropping rock. The roof is covered with small old slates and is grouted. The cottage features gable stacks with dripstones and capping, while the single bay range to the west has a projecting gable stack at its western end. In front of the cottage, there is a low rubble wall that encloses a rounded garden. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
