Description
Aberhoccwn is a pair of traditional cottages arranged in a linear formation. The original lofted cottage is located on the right (north) side, with a former cowhouse attached to its right gable. To the left (south) is a smaller, two-window cottage that features a lean-to at its left end. The cottages are constructed from rubble masonry, with the older part showcasing prominent boulder foundations. The roofs are covered with small slates that are heavily grouted, and the older section includes small skylights. The gable stacks are rendered and capped. The lean-to at the south end has a corrugated iron roof and stone coping.
The original cottage on the right has a doorway that is offset to the right, which has been recently blocked to create a window, and is flanked by four-pane sash windows. The main entry to the range is now at the north end, accessed through the former cowhouse via a newly cut doorway in the north gable wall of the cottage. The lower, left-hand cottage has a central doorway flanked by four-pane sash windows, with the right-hand window positioned close to the gable end.
