Description
The front lodge gates at Bodorgan serve as the main entrance to the estate driveway, located to the north of the lodge, with the drive running alongside the east side. The gates are flanked by square ashlar piers topped with shallow, moulded, pyramidal caps, and low ashlar walls that are adorned with cast iron railings. The wall to the west connects to the wall of the angled block at the western end of the parallel range of lodge outbuildings. The double gates feature an upward curved top rail and consist of alternating tall and short vertical rails, with the shorter rails topped with fleur-de-lys finials. The lock stile is decorated with quatrefoils.
