Description
Argyle Cottage is an earlier 19th century single-storey cottage with a rectangular plan, featuring three bays. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and includes a base course, blocking course, and pilaster quoins.
The main elevation has a centrally located door with pilasters and a depressed pediment. The door is a modern two-leaf boarded type with a plate glass fanlight above it, flanked by windows. The windows are modern multipaned. The cottage has a grey slate roof with ashlar coping along the skews and small corniced apex stacks.
Additionally, there is a low boundary plinth wall with cast-iron railings surrounding the property.
