Description
The Smollet Monument, located on Main Street in Renton, was erected in 1774. It features an ashlar Tuscan column that stands on a square pedestal base approximately 60 inches tall, which is topped with an urn finial on a domed pedestal base. At the center of the base, there is a large marble inset that displays a long Latin inscription.
