Description

18th century. Centre pedimented block; 2 storeys and raised basement; 2. 3. 2 sash window facade with slight centre projection; Doric columned porch approached up flight of entrance steps; steep hipped slate roof has tall stone chimneys placed symmetrically; moulded stone caves and concealed gutter. Lower supporting wings connected by short screen walls; 2 storeys, 4 sash windows widely spaced; hipped slate roof. The walls have recently been covered with yellow roughcast giving the place a modern appearance.

Interior contains a fine panelled room on ground floor; another smaller panelled room in one of the wings. Architect, possibly William Adam.
