Description
The Prince of Battenburg Memorial is a granite monument erected in 1896. It stands approximately 10 feet tall and features a carved Celtic Cross along with ornamental designs and an inscription. This memorial was dedicated by Queen Victoria to her son-in-law, Henry Morris, Prince of Battenburg. It is located on sloping ground to the south of Connachat Cottage and is surrounded by light iron railings for protection.
