Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan, gabled house. Harled, sandstone rubble with ashlar margins to openings, projecting window cills.

NW (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: stone steps to timber door, framed within doorway. Window to right, later stone-mullioned, 3-light window to left. Regular fenestration to 1st floor.

SE (REAR) ELEVATION: not seen 2001.

NE (SIDE) ELEVATION: obscured by abutting building.

SW (SIDE) ELEVATION: obscured to gablehead by abutting building.

Plate glass, timber-framed, false sash and case windows. Grey slates, lead flashing, slightly overhanging eaves barge boarded to gable ends. Cast-iron rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen 2001.
