Description
Castle Farm is a two-storey farmhouse built in the later 19th century. It features snecked rubble construction with ashlar dressings. The southwest elevation has an advanced crow-stepped gable on the right side. The ground floor has a tripartite window arrangement, which is corbelled out at the angles to the first floor, while the first floor has a bipartite window with a small gable head light. There is a crow-stepped gabled porch in the re-entrant angle, with a single light window above on the recessed bays. Additionally, there is a single light window on both the ground and first floors to the left. The farmhouse has crow-stepped gables and a stack on the left side, topped with a slate roof. A modern sunroom has been added to the southeast.
