Description
75 Main Street in Doune is a building that is believed to have originated in 1788, with significant alterations and additions made around 1835 in the style of William Stirling. The structure has three storeys and features a two-storey, three-window facade that sits on an elevated terrace. The exterior is harled with stone margins. The central entrance has a pilastered doorpiece designed in a Greek style. There are two gables facing the street, each with an oriel window and three single lights topped with hoodmoulds. The building also has octagonal flues for the stacks and a slate roof.
