Description

The Bridge of Ardoch, located over the Ardoch Burn in Doune, is a single-span bridge built from rubble. It features a steeply humped design. Inside the south parapet, there is an inscription that reads: "BUILT UPON THE PUBLIC EXPENSE OF THE SHIRE AD 1735."
