Description

Early to earlier 19th century. Single and 2-storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan, crowstepped farmhouse. Whinstone rubble with dressed margins. Eaves lintel course.

S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Part-glazed timber door behind small lean-to porch at centre, windows in flanking bays and 3 windows to 1st floor each with crowstepped dormerhead breaking eaves.

N ELEVATION: stair window with radial astragals to centre partially masked by single storey lean-to block with 3 windows spanning ground.

E ELEVATION: window to outer left at 1st floor.

4-pane glazing pattern in timber sash and case windows. Graded grey slates. Coped brick stacks; moulded skewputts.
