Description

Mid 19th century. 2-storey asymmetrical house with single

storey flanking wings. Coursed rubble with chamfered

ashlar dressings. 3 bays to main block, western advanced

with canted bay and decorative parapet to ground,

bipartite over and single light in gable end; coped skews

and bracketted skew putts, diamond flue at apex. Door

and window, both with hood moulds, in recessed bays, 2

windows over. Rubble end walls, with narrow hoodmoulded

lights in gablehead, that at east with cast-iron balcony.

5 diamond flues on both end gables, with decorative

corbelling. Coped skews; slate roof. Original lying-pane

glazing. East wing: door and 1 window with hoodmoulds,

gable above. Gable ends with 2 flues to east. West wing

with 1 hood-moulded window, modern stack.
