Description
The Caledonian Hotel, located at 56 Bannatyne Street in Lanark, is an early 19th-century building featuring two storeys and an attic with three windows. The exterior is finished in painted stucco with painted margins. A central pilastered door piece is present, along with two modern windows and an additional door on the ground floor. The first floor has three windows beneath a moulded fascia that is inscribed with "Caledonia Hotel." At the wallhead, there are three later gabled dormers. The building has straight skews, end stacks, and a slate roof.
