Description

The Angel Hotel, located at 21 and 23 Bridge Street, is a 19th-century building. It features a stucco exterior and a Welsh slated roof with a modillioned cornice. The hotel is three storeys tall, with a rusticated ground floor that includes round arched windows set between pairs of Roman Ionic pilasters. To the left of the centre, there is a carriageway beneath a canted bay window. The first and second floors each have seven sash windows with architrave surrounds. A shop front is situated on the far left. The hotel is part of a group that includes Nos 7 to 23 (odd).
