2 Wellington Road, Nairn

2 Wellington Road in Nairn is a mid-19th century house featuring a single storey and attic design with three bays, along with a single storey, three bay wing to the east. The main frontage is primarily finished in polished ashlar, while the gables and wings are harled, with polished ashlar dressings. The south elevation is recessed. The central entrance door is flanked by narrow sidelights, and the outer canted bays are connected by an eaves band supported by a pair of Roman Doric columns that form a porch. Above, there is a squat gabled dormer with three lights and a broad wooden pediment. The house has a shallow piended slate roof with two symmetrically placed chimneys linked by an arcade.

The wing features ashlar margins and an eaves band, with lying pane glazing and a similarly shallow piended slate roof. The property is enclosed by a low coped wall along the Wellington Street frontage, topped with a balustraded parapet and square ashlar gate piers that have moulded shallow pyramidal caps. A high rubble wall surrounds the rest of the property, connecting to the front wall with large scroll console brackets.
