Description

This late 19th century building at 186-188 Quarry Street in Hamilton is a two-storey and attic tenement featuring shops on the ground floor. It is constructed of grey ashlar and topped with a slate roof. The building has plate glass sash and case windows, with canted dormers and corniced stacks. The ground floor has a modern shopfront, while the first floor includes single and two bipartite windows with corniced lintels. A central wallhead stack rises through the dormer, with additional dormers on the left and right. The interior has not been seen.
