Description

17, 19, 21 Whitehall Crescent is a late 19th-century, four-storey and attic tenement building featuring a shopfront on the ground floor. Constructed from sandstone ashlar, it has a grey slate Mansard roof. The building has a corniced ground floor and a corniced wallhead topped with a balustraded parapet. The second-floor windows are architraved with corbelled cills and lintels, while the third-floor windows are lugged. The attic showcases a full-height, three-light canted window with a broken pediment, and all windows are fitted with two-pane timber sash and case glazing. A corniced end stack is also present.

On the front elevation, the shopfront on the left has been altered, and a former door has been blocked and converted into a window at the angle on the right. This section features richly moulded corbels supporting a moulded lintel. Each upper floor has two windows to the left and an angle window to the right, along with a pilastered dormer. The interior has not been seen.
