Description

11 Whitehall Crescent is a late 19th-century, four-storey and attic tenement and commercial building located in Dundee. The structure features a sandstone ashlar exterior and a grey slate Mansard roof. The ground floor is corniced, with a cill course and lintel band on the first and second floors. Above the second floor, there is a corbelled main cornice and a corniced wallhead course, topped by a balustraded parapet. The front elevation has banded pilasters that divide the shopfronts, with a pair of consoles on the right and a two-storey pilaster above. There is also a further pilaster on the third floor. The building has an ashlar-coped skew and a corniced ridge stack with uniform cream cans to the right.

The windows are bi- and tripartite with architraves, featuring triangular and segmental pediments on the first floor and consoled lintels on the second floor. The glazing consists of two-pane timber sash and case windows, with a round-headed dormer on the left and a bipartite box dormer on the right. The ground floor has two shopfronts, with original cast-iron columns on the left and new glazing on the right. Each upper floor contains two windows, with a bipartite window on the left and a tripartite window on the right, along with two dormers. The interior has not been seen.
