Description
Earlier 19th century. 4-storey and attic, 4-bay tenemental building with shops to ground floor. Sandstone ashlar, slate roof. Corniced ground floor, cill band to 2nd floor, eaves course; lugged architraves to 1st and 2nd floor windows, original 12-pane timber sash and case glazing pattern at 2 left hand bays of 2nd floor and 2 right hand bays of 3rd floor, 2-pane elsewhere except out-of-character casements to 2 left hand bays of 3rd floor, 2 multi-pane box dormers and 2 piended dormers; ridge stacks.
FRONT ELEVATION: close door to ground floor right, altered shopfront to left, little altered public house front to right, 4 windows to each upper floor, 4 dormers.
INTERIOR: little altered public house interior; notable etched glass 'The Star and Garter'.
