33 North Methven Street and 16A, 16B and 16C Foundry Lane Perth

Built around 1800, this three-storey and attic tenement features a symmetrical and classically styled design, with a public house located on the ground level at a corner site. The building is constructed in ashlar on the street elevation and in rubble on the side and rear elevations, with some raised margins. It has a base course and a dentilled cornice at both the ground level and the eaves course. At the rear, there is a central gabled stair tower, while the front showcases a pair of piended canted dormers.

The public house includes painted timber pilasters, a fascia, and stall risers, along with rusticated clasping pilasters at the corner. The central entrance features panelled timber two-leaf doors with a fanlight above. The windows consist of four-pane and plate glass sash and case style on the second and attic floors, with plate glass on the ground floor. The roofs are covered in grey slate with raised skews, and there is a brick chimney stack on the south gable.

The interior of the public house, viewed in 2009, includes some decorative cornicing.
