Description

57 and 58 West Mill Street is a mid-19th century, three-storey, five-bay tenement building that now houses a shop and a library on the ground floor. The structure is constructed of snecked rubble with ashlar margins and features raised cills. There are two segmental arched openings on the far left and one segmental arched opening on the far right.

Access to the flats at the rear is via a deck. The upper storeys predominantly have replacement 12-pane timber sash and case windows, while the shop and library have plate glass windows. The building also has brick wallhead stacks on the street elevation and a gable stack.
