Description

The Old Granary, located at City Mills on West Mill Street in Perth, is a former granary building dating back to 1771. It is a four-storey structure with a basement and attic, featuring six bays. The building is constructed of rubble stone with raised, smooth margins.

On the west elevation, there is a prominent stair tower that projects from the main structure, topped with a piended roof. To the right of the stair tower, there is a two-leaf timber boarded door, which has a four-pane fanlight above it. The windows are predominantly four-pane timber replacements that tilt and turn, with some later rooflights added. The roof is covered with grey slates. The building was converted into flats in 1989.
