6 Kirk Street, Leith, Edinburgh

6 Kirk Street in Leith, Edinburgh, is a mid-19th century, two-storey, six-bay tenement. It features a later addition of a blocked shopfront. The building is constructed from cream sandstone, with coursed and squared rubble and stugged dressings.

On the southwest (front) elevation, there is a three-bay shopfront on the outer right, which is now blocked and has a barred window. Above this, there are two windows. To the left of the centre, there is a common stair doorway, and the second bay from the left has been converted into a door, with a window inserted to the right. The first floor has single windows.

The windows are timber sash and case, with some retaining 12 panes, while others have plate glass glazing. The roof is slate with a metal ridge and features a mutual gable stack to the northeast.

The interior was not seen in 1993.
