Description

Alexander Cullen, circa 1904. 3-storey, symmetrical, 4-bay 'Glasgow style' tenement with shops at ground floor, Cream ashlar, slate roof. Partially corbelled cornice to shops, wallhead course, corniced stacks, with uniform terracotta cans. Single and 3-light canted windows, original sash and case windows to 2 bays at right with plate glass to bottom and 4 and 6-pane to top. Round headed close door with fanlight and consoled segmental canopy to ground floor centre, original shopfronts to left (slightly altered) and right; outshot stack rising from mannered corbel at 1st floor centre through wallhead flanked by windows at 1st and 2nd floor (pedimented at 1st), canted windows to left and right with coped and crenellated parapets.
