Description
East Coldstream Mill is a farmhouse dated 1821, featuring a single storey with a loft and flanking single-storey buildings arranged in a U-plan. The structure is built of limewashed rubble with painted margins. The house has an off-centre door located behind a modern porch, flanked by single sash windows. To the right, there is a segmental-headed pend with a datestone above it. The building includes three small loft openings, two ridge stacks, and a piended slate roof. There is a low two-bay extension to the left, and two projecting steading ranges complete the U-plan. The block to the right has an altered large rectangular entrance, and slate roofs are present throughout the property.
