Description
Udstonhead Farm is a 17th century tower house that has undergone significant alterations. The building is constructed from rubble. The entrance features a painted roll-moulded architrave located in the northeast gable end. The southeast wall includes two later windows with modern glazing at both the ground and first floors. The upper storeys have been removed, and the building now has late 19th century crow-stepped gables. The skewputts on the southeast wall are adorned with carved faces, which may originate from the original roof. The roof is now covered with modern tiles. Additionally, a late 19th century single-storey wing has been added to the northwest wall, along with a modern single-storey farmhouse to the northeast wall.
