Description

Composite house, built piecemeal in 19th century but incorporating tower house (fragments of tower visible at rear). Scottish 17th century revival, with crowstepped narrow gables; white-harled with ashlar margins. Mainly 3 storeys; entrance elevation has tall twin-gabled bays left, deeply set forward and with short balustrade over roof valley,

and end stacks; castellated porch in near centre bay, lower recessed wings to right. Sash windows; slate roofs. Interior mainly 19th century, cantilevered stone elliptical stair, timber scale-and-platt; leaded glass stair window with armorial crest.
