Description

This is a highly individual single-storey lodge, probably built in the later 19th century, and designed in a style similar to Neilshill House. The lodge features windows with unusual Moorish arched heads and is constructed from snecked bull-faced red ashlar. The three-bay driveway elevation includes a door and bipartite window set in recessed panels, with the left bay also recessed. The roof is a piended shallow-pitched slate design with projecting eaves. The quadrants and piers are also made of snecked ashlar.
