Description
Grovehill Lodge is a single-storey, three-bay lodge built around 1840, situated on a slope with a basement at the rear (east). The exterior is constructed of stugged red ashlar with polished dressings. The west elevation features openings that are hood-moulded, a central door that is panelled and has two leaves, along with a small-paned rectangular fanlight above it. The lodge has sash windows with 12-pane glazing and end stacks with diamond flues. The roof is piended and covered with slate. On the east elevation, the inner bay is slightly advanced and gabled, featuring an inserted bipartite window.
