Description
Denbie Lodge is a single-storey, three-bay lodge built around 1840. It features gatepiers and railings, constructed from red rubble with ashlar dressings and chamfered margins.
The north elevation has a gabled central porch with chamfered angles and round-headed loops on either side. There are single windows in the outer bays and a canted window on the west flank with a parapet. The lodge has sash windows throughout, featuring lying-pane glazing. A central axial stack with two square flues is present, and the roof is piended slate with projecting eaves that extend over a brick addition at the rear (south).
The gatepiers consist of four chamfered square piers topped with projecting caps, and they are accompanied by curved low coping and cast-iron railings.
