Description

The graveyard of Tarbolton Parish Church features mainly headstone graves, along with several column memorials and some gravestones that have been converted into wall monuments. Most of the gravestones date from the 19th century, although there are some that are older.

At the central pedestrian entrance to the church and graveyard, there are square-plan corniced gatepiers. The entrance is flanked by a pair of iron gates. The boundary wall includes railings in some areas, which enclose certain gravestones, while the rest of the site is surrounded by a plain boundary wall.
