Description

Later 19th century. Single storey and attic, 3-bay near-rectangular house. Ashlar; rubble to sides; red ashlar dressings. Base course; eaves course; cornice; blocking course; raised quoins. Scrolled brackets to cills; window and doorpiece margins raised to form pediments; rosette detailing.

NW (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central entrance; step to timber door; letterbox fanlight. Single windows flanking at ground. Pedimented dormers to outer left and right at attic.

4-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; stone skews; double-height corniced stacks to gableheads; polygonal cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998.

BOUNDARY WALL AND GATEPIERS: coped boundary wall enclosing site. Square-plan gatepiers to outer left mark vehicular entrance; modern gates and railings. Single gatepier to right marks pedestrian entrance.
