Description

Doonfoot Bridge, built in 1861, is a single-arched road bridge made of squared stone that crosses the River Doon. The bridge features squared sandstone construction, a base course, and a coped parapet. The parapet has outer sections that die back, and the voussoirs are squared at the apex to meet the cut stone.
