Description
The Railway Bridge over the River Doon in Alloway, Ayr, was built in 1906. It features four spans, with two larger central spans. The bridge is constructed from rubble and has segmental arches. There is a plain hoodmould above the ashlar voussoirs, and the bridge is topped with a crenellated parapet.
