Description
Brig O' Doon is a 15th-century bridge located in Alloway, Ayr, which was repaired in 1832. The bridge features a broad approach with wing walls that narrow down to a steep single segmental arch. It is constructed from rubble with a dressed stone arch ring and spandrels, and has a cobbled crossing surface. There are three iron bollards on the north approach and two iron bollards on the south approach.
