Description
Sunbury Villa is a small, two-storey, three-bay L-plan house built around 1885. It is constructed from whinstone with cream sandstone ashlar dressings, featuring ashlar mullions, stop-chamfered arrises, and rock-faced long and short quoins.
The north (front) elevation has a central two-leaf panelled door with a rectangular plate glass fanlight above it, and a framed panel inscribed with "SUNBURY VILLA." To the left, there is a tripartite window, and to the right, a bipartite window. On the first floor, the outer bays have bipartite windows that break the eaves, topped with pedimented dormerheads. A small Velux window is located at the center.
The west elevation features a blank gable on the left and a single-storey lean-to on the right that is slightly set back, continuing the line of the roof and containing a picture window.
The south elevation is dry-dashed and has a projecting bay on the left with a piend-roofed dormer.
The east elevation is a blank gable.
The house has timber sash and case plate glass windows, grey slate roofing, ashlar coped skews, corbel skewputts, and coped apex stacks with sandstone dressings and octagonal cans.
The interior was not seen in 1994.
The front walls consist of low rubble walls topped with saddleback ashlar coping, accompanied by modern railings.
