Description

Late 18th century with 19th century additions and alterations. Symmetrical 2-storey, 3-bay house with single storey wing recessed to outer left; projecting garage block to outer right. Pointed and tooled sandstone rubble (plastic repairs in part); tooled rubble quoins; lightly droved sandstone margins; projecting cills.

SE (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: steps to part-glazed timber panelled door centred at ground; plate glass fanlight; single window aligned at 1st floor. Single windows at both floors in flanking bays. Part-glazed timber door in single storey wing recessed to outer left; projecting garage to outer right.

NW (REAR) ELEVATION: lower gabled wing projecting to right; enlarged window to left at 1st floor.

NE (SIDE) ELEVATION: attic window evident to rear over lower neighbour.

4-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; raised stone skews. Brick apex stacks to NE and SW; various circular cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
