Description

Early to earlier 19th century. Near-symmetrical 2-storey, 3-bay cottage forming part of terrace and 1 of pair. Tooled sandstone rubble; droved long and short surrounds to openings; painted and projecting cills.

SE (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: part-glazed, modern timber door off-set to left of centre; single windows at both floors in flanking bays.

NW (REAR) ELEVATION: not seen 1998.

4-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof (continuous with No 39); cast-iron rainwater goods. Brick ridge stacks; various circular cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998.

BOUNDARY WALL: low coped and railed sandstone wall enclosing site to front; timber pedestrian gate.
