Description

28 The Green in Swinton is a single-storey, three-bay cottage built in the later 18th century, with some later alterations. It is part of a terrace that faces the green and features a whitewashed harl exterior with painted margins.

On the entrance elevation, there is a replacement door in the center at ground level, flanked by single windows. The rear elevation was not visible in 1998.

The cottage has plate glass timber sash and case windows and a grey slate roof with raised skews. There is a part-rendered ridge stack on the northwest side and a brick ridge stack on the southeast, along with circular cans.

The interior was not seen in 1998.
