Description

Dated 1826 with later additions and alterations. Asymmetrical 2 storey, 3-bay house forming part of terrace with single storey, lean to addition to outer right. Squared and snecked tooled pink sandstone rubble; droved sandstone dressings. Droved quoins; droved long and short surrounds to openings; projecting cills.

SE (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: modern timber door off-set to left of centre; lintel dated ?1826?; single window aligned at 1st floor; single (stair?) window in bay to outer left; projecting stone dated ?1826? off-set to left above. Bipartite window at ground in bay to outer right; single window aligned at 1st floor; square-plan sundial on sandstone support off-set to right with dials and metal gnomons in place. Boarded timber lean-to addition to right adjoining single storey wing behind.

NW (REAR) ELEVATION: not seen 1998.

Plate glass timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; raised stone skews; cast-iron rainwater goods. Brick apex stacks to NE and SW; circular cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998.

BOUNDARY WALL: pointed rubble wall enclosing site to front.
