Description

Circa 1800 with later alterations. 2-storey, originally 3-bay, rectangular-plan house with later bay formed at ground. Harl-pointed sandstone rubble; tooled rubble dressings. Raised eaves course; droved rubble quoins; long and short surrounds to openings. Painted margins; flush cills.

SW (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: replacement timber door centred at ground with integral oval fanlight; single window aligned above; small single window at ground in bay to left. Single windows at both floors in bays to outer left and right.

NW (SIDE) ELEVATION: small attic light off-set to right of centre.

NE (REAR) ELEVATION: not seen 1998.

SE (SIDE) ELEVATION: small attic light off-set to left of centre.

Plate glass timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; sandstone ridging; stone-coped skews. Corniced, brick-built apex stacks; various circular cans. Some cast-iron rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998.

BOUNDARY WALL: low coped rubble wall enclosing site to front. Iron pedestrian entry gate; timber vehicular gate.
