Description
Cottage 2 at Primsidemill is a mid to later 18th century, two-storey, three-bay symmetrical house located at the center of a terrace of three. It is constructed from harled rubble sandstone and features a battered base course.
On the south elevation, there is a central doorway with a modern door that includes a glazed panel. Above the door, there is a single window on the first floor, flanked by widely spaced bays. The first-floor windows are positioned under the eaves.
The cottage has 8-pane sash and case windows and is topped with a grey slate roof that sweeps at the eaves. There is a rubble stack on the eastern mutual gable.
