Lowriewell, High Street, Town Yetholm

Lowriewell is a mid 19th century single storey and attic house located at the end of an irregular terrace. The house is rendered with raised and painted sandstone margins and features gabled dormer windows that break the eaves.

On the east elevation, there is a central doorway with a 3-light fanlight above it, and a dormer window situated above the doorway. To the left, there is a canted window in the bay, with a dormer window above it. To the right, there is a bipartite window in the bay, also with a dormer window above.

The south elevation is gabled and has single windows at ground level to the left and at attic level to the right. The windows are 2- and 4-pane sash and case types. The roof is covered with grey slate, and there are brick gablehead and mutual stacks.
