Description
14 Panmure Place is an early 19th-century, two-storey house with an attic and three bays. The exterior is harled with painted margins, featuring later large dormers that are out of proportion to the rest of the building.
On the east elevation, the entrance is centrally located and has a modern timber porch. Above the entrance, there is a window at the first floor, with additional windows at the ground and first floors in the flanking bays. The dormers above contain timber-mullioned tripartite windows.
The north elevation has a harled, blank gable end, while the south elevation features a harled gable end with a window to the left at the first floor.
The windows are either 12-pane or 16-pane timber sash and case, with plate glass in the dormers. The roof is covered with grey/brown slate and has stone skews. There are rendered gablehead stacks on the north and south sides, each with thackstanes.
The interior was not seen in 1998. The property has a low, coped boundary wall at the front (east) and a high, coped boundary wall to the south at the rear.
