Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay house. Harled, painted margins. Later, large out-of-proportion dormers.

E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: entrance to centre with modern timber porch, window centred above at 1st floor, window at ground and 1st floor in bays flanking. Dormers above with timber-mullioned tripartite windows.

N ELEVATION: harled, blank gable end.

S ELEVATION: harled gable end with window to left at 1st floor.

12-pane or 16-pane timber sash and case windows, plate glass to dormers. Grey/brown slate roof, stone skews. Rendered gablehead stacks to N and S with thackstanes.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998.

BOUNDARY WALLS: low, coped boundary wall to front (E), high, coped boundary wall to S at rear.
