Description

Early 19th century. 3-storey 3-bay house with shop at ground on corner site. Painted ashlar, rendered to S. Base course; band course above ground floor. Regular fenestration.

E ELEVATION: 3-bay, gabled; framed by giant pilaster. Shop at ground with 3 round-headed openings set in rusticated surround; panelled and glazed door and centre flanked by plate glass windows. Centre windows of upper floors blind. Town clock in gablehead.

S ELEVATION: 3-bay. Tuscan Doric pilastered doorpiece at centre with panelled door and decorative multi-pane fanlight. Giant corner pilaster to right.

12-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slates; ashlar coped skews; brick stack.
