Description
The entrance to Edrington House features gate piers and quadrant walls, likely dating from around 1836. The entrance is marked by coped and coursed sandstone quadrant walls. The square-plan gate piers are made of coursed sandstone and have cornices, tiered caps, and ball finials adorned with strapwork. The west pier has the year '1836' inscribed on the front, albeit upside-down. The entrance is completed with two decorative iron gates that open in two leaves.
